Demos
Newbound Content Management System
Quick demos of the features of the Newbound Content Management System (CMS), a part of the Newbound Software Library. These demos focus on the development of content, the staging environment and publishing to the live site. The user interface for the Newbound CMS is one example of the types of user interfaces that can be created using the CMS.
Demo 1 - The User Interface
Demo 2 - The JSP Page
Demo 3 - Working with Relational Databases
Demo 4 - 3D User Interface
Demo 5 - 3D Virtual Worlds
These demos are currently unavailable. We hope to have them online soon.
3D User interface as applied to server administration
Demonstrates the use of a 3D interface to set up networks, domains, servers and services. System features the ability to deploy services (HTTP, SMTP, POP3, DNS and FTP) across groups of servers. Demonstrates setting up HTTP across three servers ("primary", "failover" and "Node") and a fourth server acting as a load balancer.
Demonstrates auto-synchronization of files from "primary" to the other two HTTP servers. Demonstrates what happens when "node" fails. Demonstrates what happens when "primary" fails.
Practical deployment of a hybrid client/server/p2p network
Completely theoretical demonstration, outlining the advantages, components and deployment of a network with both client/server and p2p characteristics.
Deploy your own "Push-To-Talk" network
Demo features a network application running on "your company's" servers, desktops and handhelds. Application allows the creation of personal and shared buddy lists, "silent" and "instant" modes, and of course "Push-To-Talk" instant voice-messaging.
Trusted computing framework
Completely theoretical demonstration, outlining the advantages, components and deployment of a networked application framework with built in authentication, authorization and encryption. How to maintain trust in a social networking environment while allowing friends to invite friends.
3D User interface as applied to software development
Demo uses the classic "Hello World" example as a vehicle for showcasing the full development cycle of an application in the Prograph3D development environment.
3D User interface as applied to social networking
Demo features a easy-to-launch application that allows the creation of personal avatars, locations and props as well as personal blogs, shared file lists and instant voice-messaging.
Using XML to generate user interfaces on multiple targets
Demonstrates a system that automatically generates JSP, Swing and Java3D interfaces for list/add/edit/delete based on an XML definition of the data.
